DARK LINK
AN: I know what you're thinking. A guy writing poetry? Feh. Oh well, this poem's pretty cool, considering I got it to rhyme! Well, anyway, it focuses on Dark Link (in OoT, you fight Dark Link in the Water Temple). Dark Link has always been one of my favorite characters, so I decided to write a poem in dedication to this fictional character. Enjoy reading it! Also, please review. It would be nice.
I am Link's pain
His fears,
his sadness
I am Link's emotion
His tears
of madness
I am the pain he hides,
the pain deep inside
I am fueled by his thoughts
of this never ending ride
I am the product
of anger and chaos
His concentrated fears
of pain and loss
Fueled only by misery,
fueled only by madness,
I grow with each thought
of quivering malice
The Hero's a fool,
to think he can hide me!
The Hero's a fool,
to try and deny me!
Yet I am only a shadow,
his hidden desires
a distorted illusion
a never-ending fire
While he remains quiet,
innocent and pure,
I grow impatient
more than ever before!
I'm locked in his cage,
but the bars will soon break
I'll hide in the depths
in the Hylian Lake
There I'll confront
the Hero of Time
My brother, my equal,
his essence divine
But the end, I am sure
will not be for him
It will be for his shadow
The darker side of him
