Dive Into The Unknown

By Gunnar Wentzel

Through the tainted atmosphere,

G-force sets my armor on fire,

With a dull glare under the flame from the radiate sun,

The forces pulling me back,

My skin starts to cling to the inside of my armor,

Slowly my descend is held back from a energy field,

Landing lightly upon the ground with out a sound,

Standing on countless layers of dead trees and scorched rocks,

I grab my weapon and slowly lock a clip in,

And stood there while my eye adjusted to the light,

Last living supreme defender of humanity,

I stand against the waves of foreign enemies,

Shooting each down in the hope another comes.

Threatening my existence with their presence,

My only reaction is feed them my ammunition,

And with an alien scream and an startling explosion,

My quest for survival of my kind begins.
