That's right, it's me again, Shadow! And what better then another Kaiba story, eh? ^-^ Here's the lowdown. It's pretty intense, so don't read this story if you're faint-hearted.
Seto Kaiba had it all- fame, fortune.. well, everything but a heart, that is. Snarling at those he could considered below him (which was just about everyone) and harming those who stood in the way of what he desired, he was one of the most powerful (and also one of the cruelest) men in all of Japan. He had always loved Domino City, but not in the way you might think- he simply treasured it because everyone who lives there is terrified of him, and he likes feeling in a position of power. The best duelist in the entire town next to Yugi (who he loathes utterly), his dueling skills are unmatched by anyone else. But Kaiba is about to meet his match..
Confident and bold, Shadow Hikari was a proud young woman. With long, flowing brunette hair and a serious attitude, you'd be seriously crazy to mess with this girl. Although she appears fragile, she possesses vast intelligence and could flip you over her head before you could even do a thing about it. She is very beautiful, and many men are wooed by her appearance, but she simply crushed them like pathetic ants in her way as she began to move her way up the social ladder. She fears nothing, and approaches new challenges with bravery. She is as cold as Kaiba, if not colder, and will certainly not be told by any man what to do. When these two are in the same room together, you can be sure that a vicious fight will soon break out.
Conflict rises further when Kaiba discovers Shadow is the head of a very prominent and successful rival corporation. Kaiba is angry, but unfortunately, this girl possesses something he wants.. and he aims to get it, be it legitimate or not. But when Kaiba starts falling for the very girl he hates the most, he refuses to accept it, and embarks on a very dangerous journey in which truths are revealed, new enemies arise, and friendships are put to the test in an epic battle that could very well change the world forever.
All main characters are in the story, and the time period is before the Noah arc (dubbed "Enter the Shadow Realm" in the US) and after Duelist Kingdom and Battle City. All pairings are a secret, so you'll have to find them out yourself.. but it is safe to say there is no yaoi or yuri in this story whatsoever! Enjoy!
