This is part two, guess I decided to write this after all.

Her cries shatter the silence.

"Your turn."

I say.

Without opening my eyes.

He grumbles low in his chest.

But gets up anyway.

I smile.

And listen to him.

Tend to our daughter.

He sings softly.

You can hear her.

She sounds like an angel.

Hmm, makes sense.

I begin to realise.

This is perfection.

Not some fake love.

Or an unhealthy relationship.

Both based on affection.

To a degree.

This one.

Is based on love.

And perfect happiness.

The real thing.

One of always.

And forever.

He enters the room.

And slides into bed.

Beside me.

Where he belongs.

Like I belong beside him.

Strong arms embrace me.

And it feels like home.

"I love you,

And Leanna."

"I love you both,

So much."

I say.

He kisses my crown.

And whispers sweet nothings.

In my ear.

I start to fall asleep.

Listening to his voice.

If I had know then.

What I know now.

I'm sure it would.

Have made a difference.

It would have given me hope.

When I needed.

It most.

I smile once more.

And thank the Powers.

For him.

For her.

And for the life.

I was destined to lead.

Even with the darkness.

In the beginning.

And now there's only light.

All right-y then, I'm done. But I'd like to thank Queen Boadicea, for telling me that this style of writing is called 'free verse,' thanks, it's good for future reference.
