Dear Sam,

I know that I should have told you sooner. Could you, would you, please forgive me for not telling you right away? I am in love. Never would one think that it'd be possible for one so ugly, so corrupted. But with the ring destroyed I realized I had the power to love, to do good. The lust of the ring gone I realized my true feelings Sam. Sam, from the moment I saw your large body I felt a peculiar sensation. But now with the ugly thin hobbit gone and the Ring passed I see that I am in love. Sam, my fat hobbit, I am in love with you.

Dear Gollum, I thank you with all of my heart. Your letter better helped me cope with Rosie's passing and the fact that I didn't love her with all of my heart. Your letter, my pretty prince, helped to fill the spot in my heart. It made me realize that I was in love too. I am in love with the most lovely creature imaginable. You Gollum, I am in love with you. Someday I hope we will meet again, fates bring us together. Until then, I will pine for you, kiss your image in my mind.
