~Chapter 1~
"Damn it Inuyasha! 'SIT!' 'SIT!' 'SIT!' I'm in the shower for Christ sakes!" Kagome yells.
'Stupid Bitch.' Inuyasha thinks.
"Wait in the living room. I'll be there in a minute."
Inuyasha leaves not wanting another adjustment from Kaede.

"I sense another demon. I can't tell if it's Inuyasha or his pesky brother, Sesshoumaru," Hiei tells Kurama.
"Probably Inuyasha, if only we could spot right..." Kurama walking, stops dead in his tracks.

"Alright hanyou, what the hell didja have to interrupt me in my shower for? Huh?" Kagome asks.
"There's a new demon in town," Inuyasha replies, angry with her.
"Why tell me? Why don't you just go tell Yusuke? He's the detective, not me."
"Well, everbody who senses him can't find exactly where he is. I just want you to be careful. Actually, not naming any names-" he breaks off and coughs,"Hiei." "Sorry, anyways, somebody else sent me to tell you."
"SIT!" Kagome yells urgently.
About then an arrow flew through the window, and pierced directly above Kagome's heart.
"What'd ya-" Inuyasha began to say, but as he got up, he knew why. He ran to Kagome in a flash.

"Do you think Inuyasha knows about this senseless demon?" Kurama asked carrying something.
Immediately Hiei fell to the ground holding what seemed to be his heart, but was directly above it and passed out.

Inuyasha was jumping the trees trying to sense Hiei or Kurama, but couldn't sense a thing. 'What's wrong?' he thought. He looked down at Kagome and sees her agony, and moves faster.

Kurama sets what's in his arms down gently and runs over to Hiei."What happened?" he asked, unaware of his friends lack of consciousness.
He tries sensing for Inuyasha and finds him. "Don't worry. I'll find out what's wrong even if it means telling Kagome." Kurama starts heading for Inuyasha after picking up his mystery object, and Hiei.

Inuyasha sees something in the distance, and sees long red hair. He then distinguished that it was Kurama heading his way. 'Thank goodness,' he thinks, looking back down at Kagome.
