How I spent my summer vacation.

What I did on my summer vacation was not much. Dad let me work in the store sometimes, I swept up and I sorted the screws and nails. I went to the grocery store and tried to carry the bags for the ladies so I could make some money. Then mean Mr. Doosey who works there came out and yelled at me and chased me with a broom. I' m going to get him back someday. Sometimes Dad had to work late at the store and my sister Lizzie and I have to get our own dinner. All Lizzie wants to do is listen to her records and paint her fingernails so usually I have to do it myself. I'm starting to get good at it. Sometimes on Sunday Dad played ball with me or took me fishing. I wanted to go to the park on the fourth of July but dad was busy with the reinactment group and said It was too dangerous for me to go by myself so I just watched the fireworks from the roof. Maybe next summer I will do more The end.
