I know you are now a sorceress, but I don't care. I just want to be with you. Don't go! Don't leave my side! "Earth to Squall! Come in Squall!" Zell said. He, Selphie and Quistis were watching him with concern. Squall turned to face them. "We're going after Rinoa aren't we?" Quistis asked her former pupil. "Yes, we are. Selphie, go start the Ragnarok." "Yes, captain." Selphie said mockingly. She went on board the great ship and the others followed. Squall stared in the direction the soldiers and Rinoa had gone before getting on board. We're going to get you back, Rinoa. I don't know what I'd do without you. Selphie flew the ship to Esthar's Sorceress Memorial. They landed and Squall, Zell, and Quistis were allowed to pass by the guards. They leapt into the room where Rinoa was about to be sealed away. Zell and Quistis fought the guards while Rinoa and Squall embraced. They enjoyed a hug and then Rinoa pulled away. "Why did you come and get me Squall? I'm a sorceress now! I could end up fighting the party like Edea did!"
"I don't care about your being a sorceress, all I want is you." Quistis heard them talking and felt a few tears welling up in her eyes. She kept fighting, but thought to herself: If only Squall knew how I felt. He can live without Rinoa, and I don't know what I'll do without him. If only I could tell him!
Rinoa and Squall came back up to where Quistis and Zell were fighting. A large man came up behind the guards and motioned for them to let the four pass.

Back on the bridge of the Ragnarok, Rinoa asked if everyone was mad at her.
"Nothing is farther from the truth, Rinoa. We were happy to come and get you, in accordance to our commander's wishes. We wanted you back here." Quistis explained.
"I just wanted to fly the Ragnarok!" Selphie said, bouncing excitedly in her seat.
You're back to me now, my darling Rinoa. I'm not after you; so don't think that I hate you because you're a sorceress. I'm going to make Ultimecia pay for putting me in this much anguish over almost losing you forever. I'll always be here for you.
