-PROLOGUE-

*Unknown mech pilot...

This will be my last report. I don't know when they will come, I can only hear my own rapid heartbeat. Can't see a thing either, the smoke makes it impossible to see a thing. I'll take the last capsule. pain is rising again.

Luckily my notepad is still working: How long has it been now, 2 maybe 3 days since they pulled me out of my wrecked Owens. Remembering that day I couldn't help but look at my bandaged legs. -Crushed!- It was horrible as they cut me free, my legs were crushed and I couldn't even feel them! The medic of the infantry unit, that had pulled me out the smoking cockpit, did his best but I wouldn't walk anytime soon. They said I was laughing as they pulled me out, was that because I was the sole survivor?

Maybe I should report the brave actions in which my lance participated. Sergeant Humprey who in his Bushwacker took down an enemy Uziel that was harassing Dimitri's legged Raven. Before succumbing to the heavy fire that was laid upon his already heavy battered mech. I didn't see an escape pod. I hope he makes it. not that'll survive. but still. Humprey was like a father to me. A real great friend and lancemate.

//When I left the St. Ives Compact he was the one who helped me getting used to the pirate kind of life. At first I was unsure if the Pirate life was the life for me but eventually it worked out. This unit seemed to be more of a Mercenary or freedom force then a bunch of mindless murderers.\\

I did my best to cover Dimitri afterwards, but it was no use. That damned Atlas was just too much for us. I heard him scream as an Inferno incinerated his cockpit, burning him alive. I'll never forget that inhuman scream as his Raven crashed into a nearby building.

//Dimitri, the Raven pilot, was the youngest of us, only 18 years old, but he showed some remarkable skills. Piloting his Raven like a real pro. he treated me as his older sister. Even at this time I can recall he friendly face, he remembered me so much of my own brother. Are you still alive Ryan. Really he was a great boy. but now he is no more.\\

I was alone, my unit was no more, it was my time to go. They, an Atlas and a Bushwacker, simply blasted the legs of under my Owens away. The LBX shots and pulselasers blasts simple tore the legs away like they were paper. One thing that Atlas was truely a great marksmen.

//Can't remember a lot of the things that happened afterwards but they pulled me out and did the best to keep me alive. The infantry unit had to continue so they left food and medical supplies for 3 days behind. They told me to hold on as they went for help. That was 2 days ago I've been hiding since. It has been hell.\\

I hear them coming! They're coming for me! They won't take me alive, I won't hang. I shall not hang! Always save one bullet! Mother. father, please forgive me! Maybe I should have taken that job at the SIC garrison after all. too late now. I did my best and if it counts I enjoyed my life here.

If someone finds this notepad Please! send it to. Ryan Camebell. New Outpost City, St Ives. Forgive me Ryan.

I hear them, they're coming it won't take long now .krrrrrrrzzzzzzzztttttt....
