A small child eyes wide
Sees the evil within the
Enveloping red mist
And cannot stop it
After Apocalypse
Nothing remains but she
Left to fend for herself
All alone
Avenging the forsaken
I put honor before my life
Time has taken
The memories of all that I've fallen for
Breath ragged, near dead
Heart pounding in my head
The cruel melody in my world of pain
My lullaby as I train
It never leaves
But never stays
A horrible slideshow on the brain
I'll make the ones who did this gone
The horrible sound of my own
Lonely footsteps
Keep me hanging around
Beaten face toward
The sky, looking toward heaven
Finally found by
The immortal one
She sees her loved ones
Of long ago
Rain falls from
Both her eyes and the sky
And her soul flies from its
Corporeal shell
Off to the world where she's
Eternally free
