Way back when Ancient Greek gods ruled the earth, there was a man by the name of Cronus, Zeus' father and all the other twelve great Olympian gods and goddesses. Rhea, Zeus' mother, produced his brothers and sisters Cronus ate them one by one. Rhea got tired of this and so when the sixth and last child was born, Rhea hid Zeus in a cave and told woodland nymphs to take care of him. When Zeus cried Amazon soldiers clashed there weapons and shields together to block out the noise. Once Zeus was older he went to his mom and she told him to make a special potion to give to Cronus. He drank it and out came his brothers and sisters fully grown, they didn't die because they are immortal. Zeus summoned the Cyclopes to help Zeus overthrow his father. After the war, Zeus obviously won, so Zeus punished him to hang by a cliff and have a bird peck out his liver and every day and new one come back and the bird always ate his liver. Once that was taken care of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades drew lots of the world. Zeus drew the heavens and the sky, Poseidon drew the oceans, rivers, lakes, streams, and Hades drew the smaller lot of the underworld, which suit him just fine since he was a quiet person.
