From chapter 1 of Lifeblood, to now.
I thank you first and foremost. Ali/Rose: My best friend and greatest support for these stories,
in case you haven't realized it, Kyria was modeled after you. Coarse and a bit rude on the outside, kind and caring inside.

DragonSeer: Speak of the devil! Thanks for the ideas you gave me for several of my fics, I owe you.
You guys have all made typing for hours on end worth it. Even my reviewers that I haven't mentioned by name have made an awesome impact on my writing.
So, here's a new fic for your reading pleasure. I'm going to attempt to write this as I go along, whereas I had already written Lifeblood and Paradox. In short, bear with me if it's horrible...Um...in case you haven't guessed by now, it's supposed to be funny...Not sure it is though...GET THAT GUY!!! O.o
Chapter 1
Rahab walked down the halls of the Drowned Abbey, headed for his class. Due to a shortage of humans, he had needed to get a couple tithe villages. It would not do to have his fledges slaughtering them. So he had to make a program to stop them from hunting the tithes.
He stepped into the room to find several fledges sitting at tables patiently awaiting his arrival.
"Good evening." Rahab said pleasantly.
"Good morning, Lord Rahab." the class chorused.
"Now, first things first. Repeat after me: Humans are friends not food." he told them.
The class looked horrified. One brave fledge stood up and cleared his throat.
"My lord, what do you mean?" he asked, alarmed.
"You are aware of what has recently happened are you not?" Rahab asked patiently. The fledge nodded. "You are also aware of the reprecussions of Lord Zephon's attack on Meridian have caused, correct?" He nodded again. "Then you should know that there are very few humans left, so we have tithe villages. I am trying to stop my Clan from adding to the food shortage. From now on, we will be living strictly on the blood gathered as tithe."
