Containing the Demon Within
*A/N* I know, I know...there are plenty of other stories out there like
this one. If you think it's going to be boring, bad, or you might flame
it, then don't read it. All I ask of you people is NO FLAMES!!! I admit,
I can't take harsh criticism. If you're nice and want to point out some
mistakes, that's perfectly alright.
Ch1: Battle
'This feeling...I can't believe it! We finally get to fight Naraku
instead of some demon puppet,' Kagome thought as she and her friends
stood in the door to Naraku's room.
Naraku rose from his sitting position in front of the window and turned
to face them, "I see you made it through my barrier. Good work...but you
won't last long."
Inuyasha unsheathed Tetsusuiga, his eyes full of hate, "I'm gonna slice
you into pieces!!!"
He charged blindly at Naraku. Naraku held out his hand and created a
barrier.
Inuyasha slammed Tetsusuiga down on the barrier in hopes of breaking
it. As it hit the barrier, smoke filled the room.
Inuyasha felt Tetsusuiga get lighter. He stared hard at it, trying to
see it through the thick smoke.
He ran his finger over the dull side. He didn't get far when he noticed
it: Tetsusuiga had broken.
He stood there, half shocked, half mad, when all of a sudden Naraku
lunged at him. He was on the floor in a flash, Tetsusuiga thrown to the
side carelessly, struggling with Naraku.
He noticed a wound on his side. He reached down and put his claws in
the blood, "Blades of blood!"
After Inuyasha attacked he lunged quickly at Naraku while he was off guard. He punched him in the stomach with such an impact that his hand went through him. Naraku was filled with rage and he punched Inuyasha in the head, sending him flying.
Inuyasha landed on the floor. Kagome gasped and ran to his side.
That's when he felt the demonic blood running through his veins. His
eyes turned blood red and his pupils turned blue. He got purple stripes
on the side of his face. His fangs and teeth grew longer.
Kagome felt the strange aura and backed away, scared, "I-Inuyasha...are
you ok?"
Inuyasha jumped up and lunged at Naraku.
