A/N: I've decided that I want to try little fics to see how well I can
actually write.
Disclaimer: Do you really want to hear the obvious. no? ok then. I do not own Harry Potter.
Lily looked out the window of her dormitory and sighed.
It was such a dark evening, a new moon and it was raining.
Everyone except her was in the common room having a party.
She disliked parties because it reminded her that she was the unpopular Head Girl that had such a short temper that nearly everyone was afraid of her.
She decided to go to the kitchens to get something to eat.
She knew she could go without being seen, she was only seen if James was hitting on her.
Eventually she arrived at the portrait to the kitchens.
There were voices coming from inside the kitchen.
She opened the door to James and Sirius. (Remus and Peter had stayed at the party so as not to raise suspicion.)
They froze in place staring at her.
She walked strait past him, sat down at a small table, and took out a book.
She heard the portrait slam shut and she looked up and saw to her horror James Potter.
"What are you still doing here, Potter?" Lily asked sneering at him.
He smiled at her and said, "I hope no one is meeting you up here"
"No," she replied slowly.
"Good, you can stay here with me," He was grinning more broadly now.
"No," she repeated.
"Well, if you don't I can go to McGonagall and say I was up in the kitchens at 10:00, and hour past curfew when I met you up there. I don't mind a detention or two."
Lily gasped, "You wouldn't"
James grinned, "Wouldn't I?"
This left Lily pouting and James giving the eager house elves instructions for a gourmet meal.
The meal James had told the house elves to make was delicious though Lily didn't tell James that.
Lily avoided James at all costs these days. James had no idea why she was running out if class or why she was staring at him and blushing.
Lily was thinking about how she had noticed James in a good way. She liked his smile, his laugh, and his hair.
Lily was terrified at her thoughts.
The fact was Lily Evans was falling for James Potter.
'And' she thought bitterly, 'I'm falling hard.'
One Month Later
Lily was in an empty classroom when he came in.
"Lily, we need to talk"
"What do you want to talk about?" she asked innocently.
"Why have you been avoiding me?" James looked so concerned.
She had a fear in her eyes that he could not place.
"I hate you," she said quietly with passion.
After a pause he asked, "Why?"
She looked at him and swallowed.
"For making me fall in love with you."
He stared at her and after 2 minutes, he couldn't take it. He swooped her in his arms and gave her the most amazing kiss ever.
As their lips connected, both Lily and James experienced a burst of passion. James' tongue ran along her bottom lip. She gave him access to her mouth willingly.
2 Years Later
"I now pronounce you Man and wife."
