Another short thing. The note from Mafuyu that Miku never found. This is going off of the first ending – is there really a second, 'good' ending? If so, could someone tell me what it is and how I get it?

… if she had just found this, wouldn't this have made the game a lot easier? Grr, dumb Miku… Dumb Mafuyu!

Miku –

I hope you get this soon, before this is useless. Before it's too late. Please, leave this mansion as soon as you can. It's not safe for you here and there's no reason for you to stay here, looking for me. I'm not going to be returning with you.

Do you know what's happened to this mansion? They built it over one of the Gates to Hell. The family here thought it was their duty to make sure that Malice never came out through here. They created a ritual, the Strangling Ritual. I'm sure you know about that by now.

But, you see, it required a maiden who had no attachment to this world. Someone who had no other purpose than to die. They raised these women like… cattle. They treated them like that. Important to the family, yes, but nothing you would ever want to care about.

Can you imagine living like that? Having no one who cared about you?

… yes, you can. Because that's how you live. I'm sorry Miku…

Kirie fell in love. She wanted, needed to stay in this world. Because of this she failed. And now she wants to repair the damage that she's caused. But she needs someone to stay with her, someone to support her and help her.

I need to stay here and stay with Kirie. I know that without me, you'll have no one left. You'll be alone and I'm sorry about that. But she needs me more than you do. You're strong and you'll be able to survive on your own. But she can't do this alone. She needs someone to stay with her.

Please, Miku, understand. And please, leave. Before you get hurt, before you're trapped, before it's too late…

Mafuyu placed the note down on the table in the Tatami Room. Biting his lower lip, he took one step away, then another. What if she never found it? What if Miku didn't leave and stayed, fighting to find him?

But what else could he do? Stay here and hope that she somehow found it? Even if she entered the same room she was ahead of him. Or behind him. He wasn't sure how to word that – time travel was making his head hurt. They would be standing face to face and still not see each other. A sobering and saddening thought.

'She won't get this note. She's going to end up finding me and after everything she did I'm going to have to tell her to leave. I'm going to have to tell her to her face that I have to leave her.' The thought of doing that was horrifying, even more so than the thought of going through this mansion without any defense. He was abandoning his little sister.

Picking up the note, he scrawled one last thing on the bottom of it. It would have to do. She would have to find it.

… Miku… I love you… and I hate myself for abandoning you…

Please forgive me…
