The Girl Who Lived
Qui-Gon Jinn stood in front of the members of the Jedi Council. Something was up, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He looked at Xanatos out of the corner of his eye. Qui-Gon tried to read Xanatos' mind, but he couldn't tell. Then Yoda began to speak
"Master Qui-Gon, Xanatos"
"Yes, Master Yoda" they answered.
"A new mission for you we have," Yoda said in his strange way of speaking.
"What is it, Master Yoda?" Xanatos asked.
"Sssshhhh" whispered Qui-Gon, "He'll tell you, wait"
"You are to go to the planet Bandomeer," Mace Windu spoke up.
"We felt a strong presence on the force," Ki-Adi Mundi added.
"See who has it we must" finished Yoda.
"Yes Master," said Qui-Gon, "We will do that."
Qui-Gon and Xanatos bowed to the masters and then left. "Wow," thought Qui-Gon, "a presence in the force. I wonder who it could be. Made it's the one who brings balance to the force. But he didn't say anything to Xanatos as they headed back to their rooms to pack their bags.
Once in their room they began to talk.
"Who could this new presence in the force be, Master?" asked Xanatos, as he started to pack his bag.
"I don't know," replied the Master.
" Well, is it a boy or girl?"
"I have no clue."
"So we're just gonna go around the town grabbing each person's baby until we find the right one"
"No"
"Oh"
"We'll use the force to sense the child"
"O.K. whatever you say master"
The next morning they got up and headed down to the landing platform. They walk in the ship and show their tickets to the guard. He looks at them.
"Qui-Gon?" said the guard, "As in Qui-Gon Jinn, Master Dooku's Padawan?"
"Yes" Qui-Gon answered.
"Hey good to see you." said the guard. It's me Eco-Tie Jasper
