Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and I do not intend to take or
use them as my own.
(A/N: Yes, people, it's another Fleur/Legolas pairing because there just
isn't enough stories with them. If you have a chance, you could also read
my other story 'Love Never Expected' plzz. Unlike my other one, this story
is much darker.)
~Preface~
"Mama, what's happening?"
"Fleur, Gabrielle, hide.hurry!" Mme. Delacour screamed as she urged her two daughters into an open passageway in the side of the library wall. "Stay here, don't come out no matter what you hear. Fleur, take good care of your sister."
A sudden crash from the previous hallway leading to the library caught Mme. Delacour's attention. "Hurry, je t'aime," she kissed both their foreheads and shut the door, leaving both the girls in darkness.
Even through the thickness of the wall, a high pitched scream was heard, then a terrible silence followed. Soon only the tossing of furniture and the searching of the house for the Delacour daughters could be heard.
Gabrielle huddled up to Fleur, who was silenced in shock, and began to cry. Fleur comforted her sister by rubbing her back, but that was the only thing she could do, for she could not undo the murders that had just taken place.
(A/N: sorry that was so short, if u noticed, my other story's 1st chapter was short too. Well, hoped u liked it, and by the way je t'aime in French is 'I love you'. Please review, thanx! ;) )
