Used to Date

This was originally an assignment for my Creative writing class, but I played around with it and had some fun. *DISCLIAMER* JKR owns Dennis Creevey and Oliver Wood

"Well I didn't expect to see you here, of all people." snapped a young man sitting at a table near the bar. The young man appeared to be waiting for someone.

"Of all the people…" sneered a passerby about ten years his senior.

"Oh Oliver, you always had a way with words," the young man said sarcastically, "How've you been? What are you up to? How's life been treating you?"

"Dennis, I was just going to the John. I didn't mean for you to see me." The man said, stopping at the table.

"Oh Oliver, its criminal the way you treat me."

"I'm going to be leaving now."

"Where, to the John, as you so crudely put it?"

"Goodbye Dennis."

"Well fine, leave me like you did before for that stupid job."

"Hey, you chose not to stay. All I was asking from you was to keep it quiet.  "

"You might be able to pretend to be someone you're not, but I'm not about to. I spent too many years inside the closet to want to go through that again. Uh, and all for a coaching job."

"It's a good job. I'm accepted now, you know that? They accept me. Haven't you ever wanted to be accepted?"

"They don't accept you; you just hide who you really are. Look at you, there's not a bit of you left. They've sucked it all out of you."

"I don't need this."

"I wonder if you even know who you are anymore, or if you recognize yourself in the mirror anymore."

"I work for Bulgaria! The work I do is real! Haven't you ever wanted to be apart of something real?"

Dennis sat up and turned toward the bar behind him. "I was apart of something real."

Dennis turned around again, only to find Oliver gone and a young man sitting down with him.

"Hey Creevey, sorry I'm late. Who was that gentleman who left just now?" the young man asked.

"Oh Him," Dennis turned toward the bar again, "We used to date."
