"Xander? Catch!" Dawn tosses a stake to him and he dusts the vamp that was approaching.
They were patrolling since Buffy had the flu.
"You should be home in bed Dawn." Dawn flips her hair at him. "Fine, I'll go home and go to bed. Wanna join me?"
Xander feels a stirring inside. She keeps doing this; making these little remarks, or wearing skimpy little clothes around him- last night it was a baby doll nightgown. Buffy caught him watching her and made Dawn go change.
"If I do? Then what?"
Dawn smiles. "What? No more big brother Xander?"
Time to stop pretending. Xander kisses her.
