The group looked at the new girl with excitement. She was very pretty, with long, curly blond hair and bright, jewellike blue eyes. Her figure and complexion were perfect, and her clothes choice had been developed in California next door to celebrities. After she was introduced to the class she was sent over to sit next to Yuugi.
"Hi," she said brightly, with a gleaming smile. "I'm Mary. My Yami's name is Sue."
Yuugi blinked a few times. "Your Yami?"
"She has to save the world, you know. It's so romantic. And she has to find her one true love to do it." The girl sighed happily. "I just think life is so romantic. It's just like a book."
Yuugi glanced at Jounouchi and the others and shrugged. She was pretty, but maybe she was a little insane.
"Oh!" Mary cried, looking at Yuugi more closely. "You have the Millennium Puzzle! That means your Yami is the Pharaoh, doesn't it?"
Yuugi nodded, uncertainly.
"That's wonderful!" the girl sparkled. "My Yami, Sue, was a beautiful princess in ancient Egypt. We've been looking for the Pharaoh. Now we just have to unlock his memories, which I can do right now, and everything will be saved and we can be together forever!"
In another moment, the girl had released the Pharaoh's memories from her desk. There was a shift in both teen's postures as the Yamis took control.
"I think I remember you," Yami said to Sue. "You were that girl who was given to me as a bride."
"Yes, my love!" Sue responded ardently. "And now that all has been averted by your memories being released we can be happy together. Oh! Tell me how much you love me!"
"I'm sorry," Yami said. "I never loved you. I was in love with the high priest. That's why his betrayal hurt so much. No wonder Yuugi and Kaiba are in love." He shrugged. "Sorry."
Mary and Sue were crushed and had to turn to Anzu, who was very disappointed that Yuugi was in love with Kaiba. They were very happy together after that, and Anzu made fun of Jounouchi and Honda because she had a prettier girlfriend than they did.
