A/N: This is a "choose your own pairing" story; however if you choose
to review (and I hope you do) please tell me whom you chose. I don't
particularly care if the male is actually a werewolf in the Harry Potter
series, just pick whomever you like. Thank you!
Disclaimer: I do not own any part of the Harry Potter series and am making no money whatsoever from this story. Harry Potter and Co. belong to J.K. Rowling and various publishers. I am only using these characters to have a bit of fun.

She walked into the forest, slowly, carefully, looking over her shoulder in apparent fear and apprehension. She glanced around, taking everything in as she walked deeper into the unknown. She called out his name and listened as her voice echoed back at her.
Without warning he stepped out from behind a tree. She jumped, startled at his sudden appearance. He cocked his head in confusion. She stepped back as he stepped forward, sniffing curiously.
The girl hesitated, then moved closer, until she was inches away from the beast. She swallowed hard, looked away, and held out her bare arm. She waited, eyes closed, for the shock of pain that never came. After a moment her eyes slowly opened and she turned back to her love, who was quite obviously fighting an inner battle.
His mouth watered at the smell of her flesh, but for some reason he could not bite this girl. The same scent that was so enticing was also so familiar. A part of him was sure he knew her.
But another part of him was screaming, 'Bite her! She is foolish enough to want it, so give it to her!'
'But you love her!' his human mind insisted. 'Don't put her through your pain!'
He was brought away from his thoughts as she began to caress his face with the back of her hand. He leaned into her touch, his human half desperate for her loving warmth. Her hand moved toward his mouth, resting on his canine lips.
He looked deeply into her eyes. There was a trace of something.could it possibly be love? Love for a monster such as him?
This decision was taking too long. He was becoming increasingly aware of her scent, the closeness of her body. It was overwhelming.
Her eyes gave him permission to do what the wolf in him wanted to. Without a sound from either of them, he took her arm and sank his teeth into her skin.

One month later.

The wind whipped against her, challenging her newfound speed. She had to catch him. She mentally cursed her thick coat of fur for slowing her down.
There! She caught his scent! She was on it in an instant.
She was gaining on him now. Closer, closer, and then she was only a hair's breadth away! With a burst of speed she tackled him to the ground, and he, in turn, took her down with him.
They romped together on the ground in the Forbidden Forest deep into the night, two creatures, half human, and half wolf, satisfying their need to be loved and understood. And they were beautiful.

A/N: Thank you for reading, and PLEASE review. I know it wasn't any good, but it would make my day (possibly my week, if I'm having a bad one), and you could tell me how to make it better. I wouldn't object to you reading and reviewing my other stories either!
