A/N: A poem about my favourite part of the film - the tango. The music in that scene is the better piece of composition in the entire world - whoever wrote that ought to be fricken crowned the next Beethoven or Mozart or something.

This was inspired by Al Pacino's character's quote in the film - 'No mistakes in the tango, not like life, if you get tangled up you just.tango on'

*!*

If you get tangled up, you just tango on

Music begins so soft and gentle

Blind man takes her hand

And they slide around the room, so gracefully

You wouldn't believe she'd never tangoed before

He turns and she sees another side of the room

He only sees dark; but he feels, oh how he feels

The touch of her fingers against his

Her breath against his shoulder

Her legs moving with his as they cross the floor

The music strengthens, a change of tune and tempo

Enough to make blood boil with fervour

Their steps click sharply as they dance

He spins her out and back in

They turn together, arms entwined

She laughs, he smiles

With eyes forever staring into nothingness

Another swirl, sharply back into position

To the left, her perfume intoxicates him

To the right, she falters slightly

He holds her steady in another turn

The music dies down and fades away

She turns to smile at him, forgetting

He could never see her smile

But the feel of her heart beating

Does exactly what a smile would

He smiles and his dead eyes widen,

They tangled and they tangoed on
