bDangers of the Moonb
I've always hated the full moon, for what it does to me. For what it turns me into. For the way it turns even the most boring of objects to shimmering silver in a sea of light. For the freedom it gives me.
*
For the pain it causes, breaking my bones, warping my shape. For the problems it creates for those around me. For what it could do to my friends.
*
For the fact it gives me a few hours of total inhibition. For the way it pulls away all my fears and leaves me strong. For the power it gives me over others.
*
For when I wake up black and blue. For the scars it leaves. For making me want to hide away. For when I see Sirius or James limping the next morning, or hiding a wound from prying eyes. For the terror I wake up with every morning that I could be the most dangerous person in the castle. For the fear that I could possibly live as a killer. For the fact that for a few hours each month, I want to be a killer.
*
For its power, and beauty.
