It's a quiet night at Joe's bar.  The gang is sitting around a table playing a friendly

game of Monopoly, well actually a hostile game of Monopoly -- Joe, Methos, Amanda,

Duncan, Richie, and a old friend of Duncan's, Warren Calvin.  As we join the gang,

Methos is slumming it up with Mediterranean and Baltic, Amanda is playing in style with

Boardwalk and Park Place, Richie has control of the railroads and utilities, while Joe,

Warren, and Duncan fight over the few remaining properties.

"Yes I landed on Marvin's Gardens, I'll buy it!"

As Joe puts the money in the bank, Duncan jumps up and yells, "Oh no you

don't." he pulls out his katana and decapitates the shocked immortal.

After everyone emerges from their hiding places from the quickening, Joe

questions, "Duncan, he was your friend, why?"

"It's not like he's the first friend I killed, but hey I get Marvin's Gardens and

Atlantic Avenue, now I have a monopoly."

"Yea," Methos adds who retrieves his beer the miraculously survived and takes a

drink, "let me guess, buying Marvin's Gardens is a sign he has turned to the dark side

like all your other old friends that you kill."

A knock interrupts the friend killing discussion.  In the silence that follows, Joe

gets up and answers the door.  "Shalom!" announces a woman as she enters the bar

followed by a dozen people, all of whom are dressed like pirates, who pull Joe along with

them.

"I am Bloody Morgan, and we are Jewish Pirates and we will be pillaging your

bar, so if you would be so kind as to stand all together so we can easily tie you up, that

would be great."  the leader states.

The four, drunken, immortals pull out their swords.  Richie, being the youngest

immortal present without centuries, or in Methos' case, thousands of year to build up a

high tolerance, had been passed out before the quickening and had been inexplicably

untouched by it.  The pirates calmly part as a large man with an eye patch wheels in a

large cannon.  The immortals realize through their drunken haze that a well places shot,

of any shot at all, could be fatal to even an immortal.  The combination of the cannon and

Joe being held hostage by another big man, this one with a hook, forced the standing

immortals to put down their swords.  Meanwhile, Richie is still blissfully passed out on

the floor.  They were then herded onto one side of the bar and then yet another big man,

there seems to be a pattern here, takes off his peg leg and hits the appalled immortals and

mortal with the leg.   Richie, in his drunken stupor, was left on the floor.

They woke up the next morning sore from sleep on the floor.  An unearthly curse

is heard burst forth from Methos as he looks behind the bar, "They took all the beer,

NO!"
