My Side of the Veil

When Dumbledore walked in, I was the only one talking. "Come on, Bella, you can do better than that!" I never really stopped laughing. Her Stunner hit me square in the chest, giving me no time to react. I fell backwards into the veil.
I expected to see just the other side of the veil. Instead, I was met with darkness. I heard Remus trying to hold Harry back. Moony, good ol' Moony, just let Harry go, just this one time! Moony, my faithful friend, just let me see my godson again. Don't deprive me of this right!
But then I come to my senses and realize that without Harry, Voldemort would rise again, even more powerful than before. I hope Moony restrains him enough. We couldn't have the Boy who Lived commit suicide unwillingly.

I had an important decision to make. Would I stay with Harry, or go to heaven with James? If I went with the former course, I would be able to see Prongs, my best friend, again. I would be able to look over Harry, would be able to update James on what his son had been doing. I knew Harry had made his father proud. But if I stayed with Harry (as a ghost, of course), I would be able to talk to him, watch over him, guide him. But what would happen when Harry died? I would have no one to talk to. Remus would have died, the members of the Order would have died, everyone would be gone. Where would I go then? What would I do? I'd never be able to see any of the people I cared about again. My mind had been made up. I would go see Prongs and his wife Lily, and then when everyone else died, I would be able to see them again. Goodbye, Harry. I will see you again. Hello, Prongs. The Marauders will ride again tonight.

A note from Dragoneye: Hello! How'd you like that? I thought it was pretty lame but depressing. I suck at endings, so sorry it was so bad. This is a short story I wrote myself, with no help from Lion Hart. Neon Pearl approved it, but nothing else. So HA!! Please tell me how you liked it!
