Joey hid her head under the covers. Maybe if she ignored him he would just go away and let her sleep in peace. The banging on her door stopped and Joey sighed in relief. He had finally taken a hint and went home. No such luck. A moment after the sounds had ceased Joey's door was flung open.

"Rise and shine, Josephine!" All Pacey recieved for an answer was a grunt that came from a lump in the middle of the bed.

Pacey walked over to her bed and sat on the edge. Before he could say anything a hand reached out form under the blanket and pulled Pacey under. When his eyes finally adjusted to the sudden darkness Pacey found himself staring into a pair of angry hazel eyes.

"What are you doing here, Pacey?"

"Your one and only sent me to fetch you." Pacey stated sarcastically, then he realized that he probably should have worded that differently when Joey's eyes narrowed in anger.

"Fetch me? He sent you here to fetch me?" Joey hopped out of the bed and started to get dressed, ignoring the fact that Pacey was even in the room.

Pacey sat up in the bed and quickly adverted his eyes, using all of his will power not to look at her. "Yeah, Jo. You know how Dawson gets. He gets some new idea and he just can't leave."

"You're defending him?!" She couldn't believe Pacey was taking Dawson's side. Joey couldn't even begin to count all the times that Pacey had not so subtly told her that she could do better.

"I'm not defending him, but you know how he is."

"Pacey, do you know that I see more of you than I do of him. Because he always has some film thing to do he just sends you in his place. I've probably been on more dates with you than I have with Dawson and he's supposed to be the one I'm dating!" It was true and it hurt Pacey to know that. Dawson inisted on pushing Joey aside, but he didn't want her to be alone so he recruited Pacey to go with her instead. It killed him to know that they did all the couple stuff together. He did all the boyfriend stuff but he got none of the boyfriend perks. And he didn't understand why, as much as she complained, Joey was still with Dawson.

"So, are you coming or not?" he asked.

"I'm not going." she said defiantly, but he looked back at her with just as much stuborness. "Its not going to happen so you can just save your breadth."

Pacey crawled off the bed and cam to stand in front of her. "Oh, its gonna happen Josephine. The only thing you get to decide is how. Either you go of your own free will or I take you by force. Which is it?"

Pacey knew, without a doubt in his mind, that she was going to take the hard way, but he was going to give her one more chance to change her mind. Actually, he was going to give her three.

"Jo, I'm going to give you to the count of three to go quietly." She just continued to stare at him.

"One..."

"No, Pace."

"Two..."

"Uh uh." She said, shaking her head.

"Three..."

"Not. Gonna. Happen." Joey spat, but she started to look a little nervous.

"I just want you to remember that I gave you plenty of opportunities to avoid this, Potter." Before she could move he bent and hoisted her over his shoulder.

"Pacey! Pacey, put me down!" She couldn't believe he was doing this!

Pacey ignored her screaming and walked toward the bedroom door he just thanked God that she hadn't started to hit, kick, bite, or scratch. Maybe she'd grown up. Pacey felt Joey's fist hit the middle of his back and gave a small grunt. Maybe not.
