WOW! I am so totally amazed that people liked my lil' old poem. In response to all of your WONDERFUL reviews, I decided to write another poem! Trigun fans are the best, they really know how to appreciate a work of art. -_-
To everyone waiting for Energy Within Us Zuka pooped out for awhile, but we're back on track. Another chapter WILL be out soon. Don't give up on us, please!
This poem is opposite the last one, with Meryl's point of view. It's about her love and also how she feels about Vash's responsibility as a plant. Read and Enjoy!
My Immortal Angel
There was a time in my life
When I encountered no strife
I was content to type at my station
Then you came along
(My life started to go wrong)
An oaf who loved doughnuts and fun.
Vash the Stampede
That idiot could succeed
At causing trouble wherever he went
Yet there was a sorrow in his heart
At the destruction in part
Of the entire human existence
The pain of his past
Caused a shadow to be cast
On everything he dared to love
My heart had to break
At the path he would take
It's a shame some siblings can't get along
I determined to stay true
My heart would see him through
The hardships he endured to protect
This miserable place
It'd be so easy to chase
These feeble hopes and dreams away
But love would only serve to strangle
My beautiful immortal angel
Who guards the lives of an ungrateful race
There ya are, an addition as requested! Love and Peace! -Stel
