Author's Note:
... it sounds really posh, referring to myself as an author...anyways, this songfic is based on the track 'Haunted' from the album
'Fallen' by Evanescence, so the lyrics and stuff are all copyright theirs. So
in other words, I own nothing but the words in between the lyrics o.O
Oh, and I recommend their album, it's simply amazing! ^_^

Ginny ran down the corridor frantically, her white nightdress flowing behind her
as she ran. There were tears streaming down her deathly pale cheeks and
blurring her deep chocolate brown eyes. She turned a corner and then stopped,
panting for breath as she leant against the cold stone wall. She peered around
the corner, her dark eyes wide and fearful, and then she resumed to leaning.
Ginny slowly slid down the wall, holding her head in her ghostly white hands. A
sharp intake of breath could be heard between her quiet sobs, echoing eerily in
the long and dark hallway.
~
Long lost words whisper slowly to me.
Still can't find what keeps me here,
When all this time I've been so hollow inside.
I know you're still there.
~
But within that fragile-looking, first year Gryffindor girl, a battle was being
fought…
He's not good for you…
Yes he is, he's wonderful…
No he isn't, how can you say that?
He takes care of me…
Takes care of you? Of course he doesn't!
Yes he does! He's the only one that understands me…
Can't you see what he's doing to you?
What do you mean?
He's taking you over.
What? I do what he asks me to do, I love him…
Don't you see what's happening?
~
Watching me, wanting me,
I can feel you pull me down,
Fearing you, loving you,
I won't let you pull me down.
~
Ginny squirmed and twisted as she sat on the cold ground against the wall, she
was turning her head this way and that as she struggled with her own mind…
Nothing's happening! I'm fine!
He's watching you…
But he –
He wants you…
But I –
He's pulling you down…
No he –
He's killing you…he's destroying you, Ginny.
She whimpered and held her azure blue and shimmering silver night robes tightly
against herself in an attempt to rid herself of this chilling coldness. But it
was always there. She couldn't get rid of it. It would never go away.
Ginny took some deep breaths as she rubbed her forehead gently and slowly stood
up. A few small sobs escaped her mouth as she quietly walked down the hallway,
pushing her shining, vibrant dark red hair out of her china-doll pale face. Her
usually bright eyes seemed silent and shadowy, with a gloomy air about them.
Her light bare-footed steps barely made a sound apart from the soft gentle
patter as they touched the chilly floor.
In an instant, Ginny squirmed, her hands clutching her head as she bent over
slightly. As she stood writhing, her right arm went against the stone wall in
an attempt to keep her standing. It was no use. She fell to her knees, her face
twisted as she winced in pain.
~
Hunting you I can smell you – alive.
Your heart pounding in my head…
~
Why could she never be left alone…he was always with her, and he would never
leave her, never.
~
Watching me, wanting me,
I can feel you pull me down.
Saving me, raping me,
Watching me…
~
Ginny collapsed on the floor, motionless. He would always be there. He would
always find her. He would always be hunting her. He had taken her over. He was
destroying her. Killing her. Haunting her.
