"Hello?" Asked Serena on the phone. "Oh, hello Charlie! How
are you?" Charlie was one of her very old friends from high
school. Charlie had called to ask if Serena's son would like
to go out with her daughter, B.C. Cameron, Serena's son, did
not have any idea who B.C. was, and the same went for B.C.
"Yes, I think he would like her. It will be a very nice
surprise. Alright, we'll meet you there." According to his
mother, Cameron would be meeting this B.C. the next day at
Palm Springs. He was pretty excited to meet her.
The next day, Cameron went to Palm Springs to meet this girl that he had to go out with. She was (as Cameron would tell his kids later on) more beautiful than the laughing daffodils on a warm spring day. They introduced themselves and their moms went to the café to have a drink and a doughnut. Cameron and B.C. went to a separate café across the street where B.C. worked. On the way in, B.C. tripped and with an amazing jump, Cameron caught her just in time. "Thank-you very much" B.C. said, looking into Cameron's bright brown eyes dreamily. They went in and had their cappuccinos.
