Black Soul

Chapter Two

A black haired figure sat down, arms crossed over her chest as she cast a bored glance over at the old man.

"Crimson, this is a problem, you could act a little more interested, couldn't you?" The girl next to her asked, eyes glittering with sleep.

"I just don't see the point, why can't I just kill the klutz and get it over with, Tanya?" Crimson asked, red eyes half lidded as her half cousin yawned.

"Rules of the Clan, Crim--"

"Crimson Black, Tanya Lee Black." The old man hissed, grining widely.

"We know Grandfather. Pay attention, mouth running is for outside the meeting room." Tanya said, bowing her head, Crimson just closed her eyes.

Crimson's eyes cracked open as the man turned his back to them, he should have known better. She smirked, a fireball forming in her hand as it hit the old man's back, the old pyro glared at her as he turned around.

"You have work to do Crimson, go." The expressionless mask was once again on as she dissappeared.

"This is the resualt we get when a pyro from our family decides to take a vampire as a life partner." The old man said with a sigh, shaking his head.

Crimson smirked to herself, pulling the hood of her cloak over her black hair as she jumped down from the building she was on.

She loved this feeling, the Human Realms gravity pulling her down as her scythe materialized in her hand, body surounded by that inky darkness that the Grim Reeper's soul held.

'Into each generation a Slayer is born. One girl in all the world, a Chosen One. One born with the strength and skill to fight the vampires, to stop
the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers.'

She shook her head to clear those thoughts from her mind, she had originaly been chosen for the twenty first century's Slayer, but she had to reject the title, after all, she had been the Grim Reeper to every living, or none living, thing since she was one.

But she had to admit, Rupert Giles did know how to aproch a girl.
