Chapter 1- Raindrops

"When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all."

The dark haired boy stared out of the window, a desperation in his sad eyes. He gazed at the cooling, and calming rain, that was currently trickling down upon from the heavens, daintily to hit the ground. Lan was his name, and he was alone.

"I wonder when Gingetsu will come home. I sure miss him right now."

The soft rain, continued to gently lap upon the windowpane. Thoughts swirled within his mind, traveling through the long paths of his enigmas. He moved his head up, to look at the gray heavens.

"Sometimes, I wonder where you are brother. I wonder if you are still the same, or if you have changed. I wonder if you are alright, and if all that anger you hold inside you ... is finally gone."

He closed his eyes, and sighed. His chest and thoughts were heavy with angst. He shifted his thoughts though to then think about Gingetsu.

"I don't know, how I would be without him. I never knew what happiness was, until I met Gingetsu. I find my happiness in him, and I can only hope that I give him happiness as well.

The door suddenly clicked. Gingetsu stepped in from the rain, his hair sodden with wetness.

"Ah Lan, how nice it is to see you," he greeted.

Lan smiled.
