Two-Face
Prologue
There once was a legend about a priestess who had turned traitor against the master and lord of Egypt. Known as Death's Mistress, this woman rebelled against the mighty pharaoh, raising an enormous army to fight against the ruler of the fertile land. Her goal was to first take-over and destroy the rich land of the Nile, and then would she take on the world. The war waged on for several years as the once rich soil decayed with the stench of dying men and spilled blood. Then finally, when the sun had turned dark red and the dust from the wheels of the rolling chariots had scattered the sands of Egypt afar, the priestess met the pharaoh face to face in a battle to the death, ending with Death's Mistress meeting the sharp edge of the great Lord's blade. Afterwards the pharaoh devoted the rest of his life rebuilding his lands and erasing the memory of Death's Mistress from all the tablets and obelisks that had once proudly marked her name. The memory of the great war slowly faded from the land as new life was born and received. As the sands of time swept its sleepy arm over the new Egypt, the new generation dismissed the legend as a myth to scare them into obedience while the elderly men and women who could still remember the terrible catastrophe shook their heads sadly, they knew better.
