Henry had never known it, never felt it, and never acknowledged it even if he did. He had always been too tired, or too drunk, or too busy to feel the way the young corporal's mind was always connected to his.

But now, in this moment of panic and fear, he felt it. It was growing fainter with every second, with every inch closer they spun towards the Sea of Japan, but still he felt it. He felt the pain and the sadness that had been there ever since he left the 4077th, and Radar, behind. And he felt the love that he had never really noticed before. The kind of love that exists between a father and son.

In his last moments a myriad of thoughts coursed through Henry's head. The 4077th, his practice back in Bloomington, his parents, his childhood, and most importantly... his family. The picture that had been taken of his family standing all together in the front yard came to mind. And suddenly, Radar was standing between his two daughters like a big brother, hugging them and laughing. As his body tensed up for impact, Henry shut his eyes tight and thought sadly
