Nature. That was all that was seen through a pair of beautiful sky blue eyes. Horohoro sat alone on a snowy hill, gazing contently at the scenery. There was no one else around but him and maybe a few animals that he hadn't noticed. Horohoro sighed contently. He loved nature. The only reason he wanted to be Shaman King was that so he could save a part of nature; the Koro Pokkuru.

Horohoro placed a hand on the snow beneath him. It might have been very cold to other people, but not Horohoro. Snow and ice made him feel happy. It made him feel powerful. When he was younger, Horohoro would stay hours outside in the cold winters. Pirika often worried if he would get frostbite or hypothermia. But no matter how long Horohoro stayed outside, he would always come home warm.

He tilted his gaze slightly upward. The pine trees were now in sight. Pine trees amazed Horohoro. In winter, when other trees were bare, pine trees continued to be green. They were lush all year long. That is until they are cut down.

The Ainu frowned at that thought. He almost forgot about what humans had done to nature. They would cut down trees to build cities, make paper and sometimes just because they were in the way. While destroying trees and forests, creatures lost their homes. Sometimes they died in the process. Because the forests were vanishing, so were the Koro Pokkuru. Horohoro winced. Humans had done too much to his beloved nature.

He couldn't forget the countless animals dying because of humans. Killed for fur, meat, and the one Horohoro hated the most, for humans own cruel pleasure. He was thankful the Koro Pokkuru didn't have anything humans wanted. His Kororo wasn't about to become some game for greedy humans.

"Sometimes I'm ashamed to be called a human, after what others have done." He whispered to himself.

Well, the Koro Pokkuru weren't going to become extinct while Horohoro was alive! He was going to save Kororo's race. He wasn't going to let nature get annihilated while tree-hugger Horohoro was still on the planet. Maybe with the help of some friends, he could save all nature.

Horohoro's smile returned to his face. He was ready to gather up his companions and save nature. Pirika and Kororo were already on his side. Nobody was going to stop him now.

"Horo, what are you doing here all alone? You're going to freeze your butt off. And when that happens, don't come crying to me." Ren's voice came from behind Horohoro. Though it was a little rude, Horohoro knew Ren meant no harm. The purple-haired youth sat down beside Horohoro and took a deep breath. "Fresh air smells nice after the burnt food smell at Yoh's place."

Horohoro nodded. By burnt food, it probably meant that Manta cooked. "You going to stay here?"

"Obviously. I didn't come all this way for a walk in the cold." Was Ren's reply. Horohoro tilted his head.

"You're cold?" He asked. Ren nodded without looking at him. After a moment, the Ainu placed an arm around Ren and pulled him closer while

Ren looked at him with questioning golden eyes. "Better?"

Ren felt how warm Horohoro was and snuggled closer. "Much."

The golden glow of the sunset made the two young Shaman feel even warmer.
