The Invisible Man Returns Chapter 1 Thank goodness that is over, thought Kemp. He slowly walked from where Griffin just was in Hill Street. The image of his former student still made him shiver. His chest crushed, right leg snapped Kemp tried not to think of Griffin. "I'll go home and not speak of this ever again", he told himself. His jaw still hurt and he felt rather dizzy. A taxi was going and Kemp pulled it over. "Where you wantin' ta go?", said the taxi driver asked. "Go to Burdock" Kemp lumped into the taxi seat and than he thought feel felt something brush his arm as he shut the cab. "What in the devil!" he exclaimed. "Right" murmured the taxi driver. Must have been my imagination thought Kemp. The trip was rather long and the driver kept muttering "Compte' idiot" under his breath. When Kemp got home it was already dark outside and rather cold. The windows were still shattered and a window shutters ripped through by an ax. The inside of his house was as bad as the inside where Griffin went mad with an ax. Suddenly heard the door behind him open, he turned but nothing was there, he walked over and closed it. But it reopened "Oh, god no" than he ran into the kitchen to pick up a knife but then it went up into the air and stopped. "Hello, Kemp" said some voice. "Griffin, oh hell" Kemp thought! "You thought that the police could help. Tsk, tsk well it made your situation worse you stuck up traitor" the knife plunged at Kemp. He tried to dodge but it struck his arm. "AAAAAA" yelled Kemp. "Why are you alive, you bastard Griffin" screamed Kemp. "I simply allowed a hypocrite my formula and instructed for him to follow and kill you." The knife struck again, this time Kemp's leg. "AAAHN" Kemp tried to flee but then Griffin pushed him down and delivered a final blow from the knife to his head. "The epoch of the invisible man has just begun! HA HA HA HA HA!"
