We are sitting across from each other in the break room.
We're reading newspapers like we have nothing better to do in the morning.
I see something that upsets me. The Cubs lost 9-10 by one point.
I see her looking at me. I try hard to concrete on the paper.
I am breathing harder than I was. The affect she has on me is strong.
I want to tell her how I care for her. I want to tell her how much I love her.
"Grissom," I look at her, she looks worried. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," I replied.
I curse at myself because she noticed. Maybe, just maybe she didn't notice and it was something else.
"Why?" I ask her.
"I just heard you breathing hard, and thought maybe there was something wrong."
I just smirk at her. Her face was so sweet.
"I'm fine, what section are you reading?"
She looks at the paper like she hasn't even been reading it.
"I am finish with it now." She tells me.
She hides it under the table.
"Okay, may I have it?" I ask her.
I strech out my hand and wait for the paper.
She looks at me, her eyes are telling me 'no'.
"It's nothing, it's full of women stuff." She tells me.
I don't believe her. So, I try to twist it on her.
I stare at her and then look at the clock.
I am going to figure out how long she going to keep this up.
"Sara," I call out to her.
She looks at me.
She gives me one of her looks.
"Yeah?"
"I am reading the 'Woman Stuff'." I lied.
She laughs. She then lays the newspaper flat on the table and it reveals what she has been reading.
"Obarturies, huh?" I ask, surprise.
She nods.
I lay flat what I've been reading. It was the Sports section. I knew she been lying the whole time.
"You lied!"
"You lied first!"
We bickered like 5 year olds until our colleagues came.
