Song of the Silvanesti
King Lorac, what has befallen you?
What has made your will grow weak?
The world is lost, the elves are doomed.
Why have you led your people here?
Dragons cast their dark shadows down,
Screaming their merciless songs of death.
Nightmares become reality,
While reality is merely a dream.
Death crawls on your doorstep,
Creeping silently through the trees.
Your people cry out in hopeless despair,
Staring into the faceless sky.
Oh, King Lorac, what has happened to the land?
The trees cry out in pain and suffering, and blood rains down over all.
For, didn't great Silvanos once say, "As lives the land, lives the elves"?
Why is there no pity offered here?
