Martian Heart
From Jadeite to Rei
Though it's title Martian heart, it's
actually from Jadeite to Rei.
Once upon a lifetime
Fastering my eyes on the dance floor, I blink in surprise
As my past life flashes before me,
A girl like a glorious goddess, I feel my heart breaking
knowing her love was not me.
Hair as dark as the raven's wing,
Around her slender form it's swirling,
Bright amethyst eyes are blazing
On the dance floor she's twirling.
Her gaze locks onto mine, all in startled surprise,
Violet orbs wildly flashing,
As my memory goes, an eternity back, a vision of,
Her sword swiftly slashing.
A witch with yellow eyes and sharp fangs,
bound my feet and wrist.
Pain upon pain, she tore away my soul, and
my eyes cloud over with mist.
Darkness became my lie and my support, as
I killed my lovely goddess
Beryl laughed cruel and long, never caring
that my heart was a mess.
Soemthing lays itself on my arm, and my eyes
Behold a hand in leather,
She smiles, whispering, "I love you, let's spend
all eternity together."
Wow, a happy ending for my poem. I wonder how I managed that. smirk. Please, leave me a review. Coming up "Heart of Ice."
