"Ah, Pumba," Timon said, "isn't life in Hakuna Matata great!"

Pumba said, "Yea! There are lots of grubs! Grubs, grubs, grubs!"

"Pumba, Pumba! Forget the grubs for a second, will ya? Think. Think what we should d-AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! LION!!!!!!"

Timon and Pumba both screamed their heads off when they suddenly saw Nala, Kiara, and Kovu coming.

"Woa," said Kovu, "easy Pumba. It's us."

"Hey Timon, it's Kovu and Kiara and Nala."

"What?!!! Never do that again ok? That scared me to death!!!"

"Sorry," said Kiara.

Nala said, "Hey Timon and Pumba, how would you guys like to watch after Jr. for us? Simba and I want to go visit some friends with Kiara and Kovu."

"Sure," said Timon, "where's the little guy?"

"It'll be just like when we were watching Kiara!" said Pumba.

"Jr.'s with Simba and they'll be back in a little while."

"Ok, we'll see you then. Bye!" said Pumba.

"Yea, bye." said Timon.

"Bye guys." said Kiara.

So they went back to Pride Rock to start getting ready when Simba came home.

"Hey Nala," Simba said.

"Hey, remember when I told you that Kiara, Kovu, and I wanted to go see our old friends?"

"Yea. Why?"

"Well, we can now. I asked Timon and Pumba to watch over Jr."

"Okay. But we can't stay that long."

"I know. Now help us get ready."

Simba, Nala, Kiara, and Kovu spent the afternoon getting ready while Kovu Jr. was playing near the water hole. He was just about to head home when he heard a scream coming from near the outlands. He ran there as fast as he could. When he got there, he saw a little lion.

"What's the matter?" Kovu Jr. said.

"I accidently stepped on a dead bird!" cried the little lion.

"That's all?!!! I ran all the way here for nothing?"

"Well, no one told you to come."

"Hey, I was just kidding. I'm Kovu Jr. What's your name?"

"Kovu Jr.? What a weird name."

"HEY!"

"Just kidding, sheesh. My name's Kiki."

"Hi Kiki. Why are you out here all alone?"

"I just came out here to play."

"Who's your parents?"

"My mom is Kala and my dad is Noka."

"Kala and Noka? Oh! My parents are going to visit them tomorrow. They're my mom and dad and grandma and grandpa's friends."

"Really? Oh! You're Kiara and Kovu's son!"

"Yea."

"So you're gonna be king someday?"

"Um...I guess."

"Cool. Hey, it's getting late. I should get going."

"Yea, me too. You want to play tomorrow?"

"Sure. Let's meet at the water hole tomorrow afternoon. Ok?"

"Ok. Bye."

"Bye."
