It was a slow day at the store for Edward Guiles, Toadstollian
jeweler. Even though his work was top-notch, it was still a slow day.
There had only been five or so comings and it was almost closing time.
Unbeknownst for Edward Guiles, there were about to be some unique
customers...Some very unique customers.
The door swung open, ringing the small bell. Edward looked up, and saw nothing. Shaking his head, he looked down at the paperwork he was doing. As he worked, he began to hear voices...
"Psst... Rosie, why can't we steal anything?"
"Sammy, shut up. This is the first raid you're on, and it may be the last if you keep on making a ruckus."
The two voices immediately quieted. Edward continued to look around, but still saw nothing.
"I must be going mad." He said to himself. Sighing, Edward placed his pen to the paper and continued to write. After an hour or so, he paused. Looking around, he once again saw nothing out of the ordinary. Or did he?
Standing up, he noticed something was defiantly missing. A small but valuable collection of sapphires and rubies were gone from the shelves. He raced to the phone near the large window casting a view into the city of Toad Town. As he dialed Toadstollian Security, TS, he saw a group of Yoshis ride into the sunset... Slowly he realized what had happened and put the phone down.
The Shy Guy Riders had struck again.
