Disclaimer: I don't own Outlaw Star, or any of the characters. I do, however, own my own characters! Muwahahahaha…. *cough* *Clears throat* any ways… This story has a lot of homosexual references, so please do not be offended. I do have another fanfic, but it's under a different name, and I am in the process of changing things, so please be patient!

Change My Life

Prologue:

"Don't go."

To think that this is what started it all. Tow very simple words that changed my entire life. That's all she needed to say… To think that my entire world can come crashing down with two words. Who ever thought that she could do that to me? I mean, it was entirely unexpected! She was my best friend… Then she was my lover… And now she's gone… Maybe I should start at the beginning…

Chapter One: A New Year (part one)

"Sarah! Come on! We're gonna be late!" I screamed up the stairs. She always took forever on school mornings, and today was no different.

"I'm coming! Geese, hun, calm down we are not going to be late," Sarah said calmly, coming down the stairs in yet another of her outrageous outfits.

"Girl, what do you have on?" I asked, not really sure I wanted to know the answer.

Sarah looked down at herself, a confused look on her face as to what I was talking about. "Clothes?" she vaguely put.

"Girl, if you have on clothes, then I'm the queen of England!" from what I could tell, a naked person had on more clothes than my best friend did. She had on a purple miniskirt, boots we friendly call 'the hooker boots,' a black tee and her favorite leather jacket. And if that wasn't bad enough, it included black fishnet stockings and a purple net tee.

"Just because you always wear jeans and a tee doesn't mean everyone in the world does, hun," Sarah said, looking at my apparel with that familiar look of disgust. What was wrong with jeans and a tee shirt? Nothing, of course. I was happy living in my jeans, tee, hoodie, and my Vans (which were lovingly called 'those horrible skater shoes' by both Sarah and my mother). I mean, I own nicer clothes, but yeah right.

"It wouldn't kill you to look nice for once, Ska," Sarah said, using my skater name. "I mean, we are seniors."

"So? All I care about is that this is the last year I gotta spend in this horrid school."

"Ok," she sighed. "Let's go. We're gonna be late."

I shook my head. It was no use with her. "I gotta get gas," I said as we climbed into the car. That car was my sixteenth birthday present. I mean, it's just a Grand Am, but a car is a car. I turned the keys, the familiar sounds of Blink-182 coming from the speakers, and headed to school. A new year had begun.

~* Well, it's not a bad start, right???????? RIGHT????!!!!!! I hope not. This is only my second attempt at a fanfic, so eh…. Yeah…. R&R!!!!!!! *~
