Separated

Luffy glared intently at a butterfly that was currently situated on his personal perch at the front of the ship.

"Naaaaami-saaaaan!" Luffy whined from his temporary seat on the railing of the Going Merry

"What?" Nami shot back, for the thousandth time today. She knew exactly what, she didn't even know why she asked anymore...

"This stupid bird still hasn't left!" Luffy cried, as he folded his arms and flared his nostrils at the butterfly

"First of all, that's a butterfly. It's not even related to any type of bird I know." Nami threw a heavy emphasis on the word 'related' Luffy interrupted-

"But this is Grand Liiiiiine~!" He swooned, his back arched and he made a howling gesture with his head as he said 'Liiiiiiine' Nami sniffed, angrily.

"I invented the butterfly..." Usopp contributed from his spot on the floor. Zoro snorted, a smirk on his face. "I did! I think that was right around the time I finished training Hawk eyes..." Usopp furrowed his brow in thought, trying to recall which came first.

Sanji emerged from the kitchen, wiping his hands. "Lunch is served." He announced, a puff of smoke making it's way from Sanji's nostrils.

"Woooooo~!" Luffy cooed, leaning back until he fell flat on his back on the ship's deck. "Meaaat!!" He cheered as he began in an intricate bee-like dance towards where Sanji was standing.

"Luffy, what about the butterfly?" Nami questioned, as she began to lift herself from her sun chair. Luffy stared at Nami blankly for a few seconds, before gasping,

"Oooooh! Haha, I get it Nami. You're funny." Luffy grinned stupidly, and marched into the kitchen. Nami scratched her head, confused.

"Don't try, Nami." Grunted Zoro through a mouthful of sandwich. Nami nodded and went to fetch a sandwich for herself. Eventually, the whole crew was silent, enjoying their sandwiches. Except for Luffy, of course. It seemed that he had rediscovered the butterfly, and his annoyance returned with a vengeance.

"I challenge you, stupid bird! Let's fight!" Luffy was hugging the long neck of the Going Merry's figurehead, and was eye level with the butterfly.

"Luffy, you're going to break something..." Nami sighed, putting her hand to her forehead.

Robin smiled at the sight of the crew. She didn't know how long it had been since she had felt so accepted. Ever since the adventure in sky island, the crew's bond with eachother had grown ten-fold, and she was glad to be a part of it. Everything was going great, and no one really knew where they were going next, and not one of them cared...
