The young woman walked down the stark white hallway passing the dead and dying creatures. The smell of some of them when she passed them made her sick to her stomach and she hurried past them.
"Disgusting," she muttered under her breath and quickly walked towards the large wooden door at the end. On the door a crooked sign hung that read "Maximum Security". She knocked on the door and when it opened she was looking down the business end of two crossbows. She quickly handed them the papers and one led her down the hall and the other stayed by the door. The guard stopped infront of a room that was seperated by glass.
The man on the other side of the glass was sitting at a desk, his platinum blonde hair vied for dominence over the white of the walls, his black outfit stood out in stark contrast, making her eyes almost hurt.
"Mr. Giles?" she asked tentivly stepping up to the glass.
"Who the hell are you?" his british accent was still strong after all this time in this place.
"My name is Tawny Burton, I'm a reporter for the Times." She took a startled step back when he turned towards her, vamped out.
"I said no more bloody reporters!" he yelled at his guards, who ignored him but Tawny took a quick step back, causing the other man to laugh. "What's wrong pet? Did I scare you? Don't worry about me, the glass or the guards will stop me before I finish killing you." Tawny gulped and looked to the guard and he was glaring at the man, no not man, vampire on the other side of the glass. Feeling reasured she stepped forward once more.
"Mr. Giles..." she started again and the vampire snorted derisivly.
"If you're going to call me something dont bloody call me that. Hell I stole that off of the watcher after he died. If you must call me anything, which I wish you wouldnt, call me Spike."
"Ok Spike, like I said I'm a reporter and I'm here to get your story. What you went through, the four slayers you killed and being the only souled vampire..." she stopped suddenly when Spike laughed.
"You'll be the first but I'm not."
"You're not what?"
"The only souled vampire, plus it was six slayers, get it right, Buffy Summers would have been the seventh." As the young woman stared at him in shock Spike contimplated what she was offering. "What do you want to know?"
