Reflection
By: Chibi-Kaoru

Disclaimers- I do not own Rurouni Kenshin, and unless I get a billion dollars, never will. Foreword- Well, this is my third fic, this will be my first story of this type, but I hope you enjoy! Oh yeah, well, I suck at intros, but enjoy anyways.

Chapter 1 Appearance "Goodnight Kenshin." Kenshin turned around and smiled. Kaoru smiled back, her long raven hair fell unchecked down her back, not yet been pulled back for the night. 'So beautiful, be Sessha cannot love her, Sessha does not deserve to love her, that I don't.' "Goodnight Kaoru" Kaoru's eyes widened. 'My name, without the honorific. Is he sick' Kenshin had turned as red as his hair. She giggled and walked into her room. "Oro...Something is wrong will Sessha, how could I have let that slip." 'Oh well.' Kenshin walked into his own room and rolled out his futon. He pulled the tie out of his hair and was about to get into bed when he heard a voice.

"Kenshin?" He stopped. And turned around. Nothing. He shrugged. "Kenshin?" He turned around once again. He didn't see anyone, plus, he couldn't sense anyone. "Kenshin?" He grabbed the reverse blade and drew it. "Who's there?" He held the sword out in front of him, eyes narrowed in concentration.

A wispy, white, shadow became faintly visible. Kenshin's eyes widened. 'A ghost? Sessha must not be feeling well, that I'm not.' He gripped the sword harder, although it would be useless against a ghost. Finally, the wavering image was completed. The sword dropped from his hands. His eyes as big as dinner plates.

"Oro...Tomoe-san?"

The ghost smiled. "Took you long enough to notice." She said, giggling. "Oro, now I am most certain that there is something wrong with me." He said, closing his eyes and shaking his head. "Nope, nothing's wrong with you, I'm the real deal baby!" She said, posing. Kenshin's eyes were practically popping out of his head. She giggled again. "Oro... I don't seem to remember you ever being so..." He waved his hand in a sweeping motion. "Cheerful, happy, smiley..." "Yup, that's it." Tomoe shook her head. "OK, now to business." She clapped her hands happily and perched herself on the dresser.

"Oro...You came here for a reason?" He said looking confused. "I thought ghosts just haunted people." She shook her head. "You are just as stupid as I remember," She ignored his glare. "I am not a ghost, I am a spirit, and spirit's have to have a reason to leave heaven." She said, smiling softly. "So you got to go to heaven." (I'm getting tired of writing 'he said' and 'she said', so, try to keep up.) "Yup, my good deeds outweighed my bad ones." "OK, so, why are you here?" She grinned and pointed towards Kaoru's room. "Her." She said simply. "Are you angry?" Tomoe sweatdropped. "Do I look angry?" "Um, well...no." She smirked, "Then that's not why I'm here."

"You, my good friend, have to the most clueless guy I know." Tomoe said, rolling her eyes. "Huh?" She hopped off the dresser. "Prove me wrong Mr.Baka. I know you love Kaoru," Kenshin blushed. "But Sessha does not deserve..." "Shut up." He stared at Tomoe in disbelief. "Well, now I guess I am going to have to preach to you. Don't even THINK about interrupting me."

Author's Note: Well, watcha think? I appreciate all reviews, even flamers. But don't get me wrong, this is actually a K&K fic, so it's getting there. My creative energy has been going nuts, so it's just been write, write, write! Stay tuned for the next chapter.
