Snow

Pure white beckons;

Yet afraid to taint you

With drops of crimson

Gone but still staining

Deep within my soul

The hand that reaches

Falters from your gentle face

And the skies staring back at me

Can they heal me?

Averting my passions,

Begging to brim in amethyst,

Like the rain in your skies.

Only an embrace away,

Though it feels like centuries.

Reluctance crumbles my spirit

Anguish weeps from your heart

And I can't stop the snow

That fall in your skies

And roll down your cheeks.

Forgive me...

End Notes: Another poem that I say I'm happy with. ^_^ A little break from the usual dark ones I write, but still depressing... Dang, I couldn't get the form of this poem how I wanted with ff.net even though I tried many different ways when trying to upload it...
