Inuyasha's Poem from the Heart
Breathing slow, yet breathing fast,
My heart is hurt from our past.
My heart was yours, and is in your debt,
But my love for you has turned to hate.
I promised to love you, but I cannot fake*,
For everything I said to you, I cannot make.
Your love, too, has turned to hate,
And I no longer wish for you to be my mate,
I now realize it just ain't fate.
My heart, now, belongs to someone who does not know,
Not you, but her, the simplest* form* I say,
I loved you once, but once was long past gone.
I love her now, yet I am only her friend
(Now talking to "her")
Can friends', be more than just friends,
The first time I met you, I was all but nice.
I yelled, I pushed, and shoved my way,
But it was no way to your heart.
I know now I cannot leave you, for you-
-Are my first real love; who loves me,
For who I am, and not for what I can become.
Please forgive me for what I say now
I love you! I love you with all my heart!
Now that it said I leave you with this,
Kagome, can friends be more than just friends.

I know, I know, I should be working on my story "Undying Love", but I am
having a huge writers block. I wrote this for an English poem but it was
changed from talking about my ex and my current b/f to Inuyasha talking to
Kagome. Hey my teacher though it was sad, and she gave me an A+, she
thought I was depressed or something. If you have any suggestions about
"Undying Love" please e-mail them to me at rockprincessss@aol.com and label
it "Undying Love Suggestion", because I delete anything I don't know, for
the viruses going around. I am really stuck and hopefully this poem will
help ease my writers block. This is also going to be in an upcoming High
school fic I will write after I'm done with "Undying Love" Well review it
and tell me how you liked this poem.
