The Next Threat p
Two weeks after the defeat of Metal Overlord, we find the notorious Dr.
Eggman in his secret laboratory. p
"Curses!" The doctor exclaimed. "The hedgehog and his friends defeated Metal Sonic! How could this be? It's almost as if-" p
Eggman stopped short.
"That's it!" The evil doctor began to laugh. "Run while you can Sonic! This will be the final confrontation! Soon the world will be mine!" p
The doctor laughed evilly. p
Elsewhere, in a green valley, Sonic the Hedgehog blasts through the forest at incredible speeds. As Sonic advances, little does he know he just helped the evil doctor in his quest for world domination, by simply running over a needle sticking out of the ground. p
"I haven't seen Eggman in a while," mused Sonic. "It's a good thing too. Though it's been kind of boring around here without him" p
Eggman growled. p
"Enjoy your boredom while you can Sonic. Because of you, I'm one step closer to world domination. Dark Sonic come here!" p
Suddenly, an exact replica of Sonic came out of the shadows. p
"Yes master?" Dark Sonic replied. p.
"I want you to find that hedgehog... and destroy him! Once you're done with him, take care of his pesky friends!" p
Dark Sonic quickly obeyed. p
Back in the valley, Sonic the Hedgehog entered Station Square. p
"I wonder if Tails is here." He quarried. p
After looking around the city, he decided Tails must be in his workshop. p
"Guess I'll get on the train. Nah, I can run there faster." p
He headed off as Dark Sonic followed. p
"Hmm, this will be a chance to get rid of my copy and his friend. Looks like my work is cut out for me." p
