Moony and Prongs were in a fight again. Prongs was supposed to wait for moony outside of their transfiguration class while moony talked to professor McGonagall.
As fate would have it she just happened to walk by just as prongs left the classroom, and because of his big crush on her he just happened to pick her to practice his stalking on. When he reached The Great Hall he had realized that Moony had been calling his name for the past ten minutes while trying to catch up with prongs.
When moony finally caught up with prongs he immediately started to fight with him. They were yelling really loud and had managed to attract a crowd of people, some one was going to a lot of trouble to get to the inside ring of people around them. Professor McGonagall said, "If you boys are going to fight then you should be properly equipped." With that she mumbled a few words and they were suddenly standing in a ring with a pair of boxing gloves each. "To also help you along you each get to pick a weapon of your choice, it can be anything that is not magical." This mystified the two boys; they just stood there looking dumbstruck at her. "Well hurry up I'm waiting. Or would you boys like to not continue this fight?" Suddenly, prongs and moony were moving fast both trying to ask for their weapon at the same time, "Prof..." "NO, I wanÉ" "Hey give meÉ" you could not seem to pick out what either of them wanted. "SCILENCE, she shouted "You will each tell my which weapon you want, starting with James and then you Remus. So what will it be Potter?" James said in reply "I would like a leash." She gave him a weird look but a leash appeared for him. "Mr. Lupin?" "I would like a..a..a..a FRYING PAN!!!" At this many of the people in the crowd burst out in laughter, but James did not seem too happy about this some even said (that weren't laughing too hard) that his eye twitched.
Having chosen their weapons of choice, the two boys faced each other in opposite corners of the ring while McGonagall changed her purple robes to black and white striped one.
