My Poem of Secrets
A/N1 – (this is something I'm putting in all the stories I post today); Hi! And welcome to my imagination. I have been a member here since September 4th, 2002. This is one of the first stories that I am posting and being that it is a very unusual and special event, I am posting it on a day that does not exist 3 out of 4 years! What took me so long? Well, two things: I'm a procrastinator and a perfectionist, but in general, I get many ideas that just don't seem to come out into words. However, I promised myself, that today, I would share some of my ideas with the world (and it's about time, too!). I hope you enjoy your reading and Happy Leap Year!
A/N2 – (this author's note is for the story) It's funny the way things turn out in life sometimes. Here I am, having been obsessed with Pokemon for three or more years (and gradually faded away from it), having started many fanfics (for pokemon and HA! alike), but completing and posting a HA! fic at the same time as a pokemon fic. Well, I guess this isn't really a full-fledged 'fic', but a poem. Anyway, enough of that. I hope you enjoy this.

A girl wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans settles herself on her bed with a purple notebook and blue pen. She writes:
My Poem of Secrets
How long have I waited
To speak these words
To utter my deepest feelings
And reveal my biggest secret?
To say but a name
Which everyone knows
And let them know, too
What it means to me?
An overwhelming want
Pulls at my heart.
I must put my soul to rest,
Release my thoughts to the world.
Why do I torment myself
Bearing this heavy load?
I whisper, but no
I am not heard.
My mind set and strong,
My voice carries on,
I tell them who I am:
"Hey Arnold!'s the show
and I am the fan."

I don't know how many people feel this way. I am obsessed and I can't tell my friends. I wanted this to sound Helga-ish. For all the things about the girl (pink shirt, etc.) I do fit the description. How many other people out there feel this way? Review and tell me about it!
