Link: The Lost Adventures
Written by: Stealth16
Before Ganon had tried to taken over the world, before the Princess Zelda was kidnapped, and even before the seven sages were ever created, there was a young boy named Link. This little boy was special from all of the other children. He wished to master martial arts and use a staff. One day, his father took him out to an open field, 200 yards away from Hyrule's gate, and handed him a staff. He started training him from there on, each day until 3 months had passed...
Link's father: All right, son? You know better to block that hit! One day, you might be fighting against some robber and he'll execute that move and you'll be out cold!
Link: But father, I am not going to be fighting a robber anytime soon! And besides, who would attack me diagonally like that anyways?
Link's father: Link! Don't talk like that! I have a feeling one day you might need to know these techniques so I suggest you learn them!
Link: Yes father... (The sky turns black around the area of Hyrule's Main gate)
Link's father: Hmm...Something is amiss at the gates...What could make the sky turn color like that? C'mon son! We're getting out of here! (Lightening strikes over and over again, hitting trees and the ground. The dark sky starts spreading, like a wave, wrapping all of the sky it can. Then, one spot in the sky turns darker than the rest and shines a black beam into the ground in which a door up rises. One of the lightening bolts hits Link's father and paralyzes him.)
Link: Father! (Link tries to lift his father up but a sudden gust of wind throws him away from his father, Link hits a tree and falls unconscious.)
Voice: Hello? Are you up yet? C'mon, wake up.
(Link mumbles)
Voice: Ah, so you are alive! We were worried that you might have not of made it. Your pulse slowed down tremendously and you have been here for some time.
Link: Wha...? (Link finds himself in a room lying on a bed. Suddenly, he sits up fast.) Where am I?!
Voice: My name is Gonrick and you are in the Temple of Altars.
Link: You're a... Gonrick: A Goron. Yep, I sure am.
(Link jumps up on his bed and goes to grab his staff but realizes that it isn't there.)
Gonrick: Whoa there! You looking for this? (Holds up Link's broken staff) Well we found it broken next to you and we thought it was yours so we brought it here just in case. But don't worry, you won't have to use it on us. Gorons are friendly folk, despite what other people say about us. We won't hurt you. We're just going to tend your wounds and that is all.
Link: Well...I guess that is alright but my fath...My father! I must go and see if he is alright! Did you see another body out there in that field?
Gotrick: No, lad. I'm sorry.
Link: Well, I must go look for him! (Gets up and falls back down in intense pain)
Gotrick: Oh yea...your legs are broken...
Link: Well, thanks for telling me!
Gotrick: Your staying here until your wounds heal because if you don't, then you won't be able to heal properly. And if that happens, then you cannot go and look for you father. Here is what I'll do. I'll send a dispatch a team to go out and look for you father and they can report back to me in a few days. Is that alright?
Link: Yea, I guess that'll work for now.
Gotrick: Good, now just stay here and rest.
